I created this project in order to remember women who have come and gone long before my time: Eve, Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba, & Mary. These women have hugely influenced my life and faith. Throughout 2020, a dear friend, Sean Kisch, and I composed a musical about these six women. In a year of struggle and pain, this musical brought me light. I'm writing this blog not for recognition, but for remembrance. I want to look back and see how it all came about, to hear the voices of my cast and crew and document God's blessings throughout the process. I want to remember who impacted this show, what words of wisdom were spoken over it, and what moments were created.
